With this in mind we have developed a series of writing books aimed at giving children the best start in early writing.The Sunny Street English language programme offers an opportunity for children to become involved in the process of writing by linking it with the oral language and reading elements of the programme.This book includes a wide variety of exercises aimed at the development of early writing. The first 40 pages are devoted to exercises that will develop skills necessary for writing: fine motor control, hand-eye co-ordination, planning and anticipation, left-right orientation, and directionality. The remaining pages are devoted to letter formation.
