Acer palmatum Chiri hime

Chiri hime is a dwarf maple with small 5 lobes palmate leaves emerging green in spring. The 2 tones of green develop throughout the summer and fall colours are yellow to orange display, or red. The leaves have short internodes which makes them tightly arranged around the stem. In the summer the lime green colour of the stem and central vein contrasts with the dark green of the rest of the leaf.
